There was an article on CBS about doodling the other day. You can find it here .

I have noticed over the past couple of years a renewed interest in doodling. There have been several books published to release the inner doodler.

There is the Zentangle phenomenon which has its own set of books, paper, and pens. I have fooled around with it for a couple of years.

Even Spirograph has made a resurgence in the market place.

My father doodles and does it well. I do it a little more purposely than he does but I like the act of doodling.

Jim Henson was one heck of doodler. I love looking at pages from his notebooks and the like. There are so many interesting drawing all over the margins and in between the lines. I have admired his doodling abilities for years.

Sergio Aragones has us all beat for a lifetime. He has made a living from doodling.

I like that we are finding that doodling helps concentration rather than inhibits it.

I always used doodling to clear my head and give my ideas some time to work out.

So I encourage you to doodle. Just let your mind wander along with the pen. You might be surprised how much it frees your mind.

I am grateful for doodling.

I like to doodle too. It's relaxing, for some reason.

I always like your posts. I hope to comment more often :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with LJ :)
