I enjoyed the 7th inning of last night’s game. It shows us that you can’t take the BoSox meltdown for granted. They threaten there for a little while. Yes, I do know the final score and what the Yankees did in the other innings. I wonder if the Las Vegas bookies are revising their predictions today.

Today is recycling day. I put out everything that had turned up when we cleaned last week. It looks like I made a small fort out of paper. But that does clear up a chunk of the garage and I don’t think we are going to have that much paper at one time for a while.

Fallen Angel will continue for at least another 2 issues. There is also talk about a second trade paperback collection of issues 6-12. This is all good. Peter still has the bookplate offer going right now. I really do think that Fallen Angel is some of Peter’s best work in comics that has been published. I really like Maddrox too. The Hulk issues that he is doing currently are very different than the stories he wrote during his previous run. Next year is a pretty good year if you are a Peter David fan.

Ariel and I have been putting together the new Lego Hogwarts Castle. The box says that this is designed for ages 8 to 12. Ariel’s comment was, “Yea, 8 year old engineers to 12 year old architects.” I have to agree. Some of the directions were very complicated and a few were not clear at all. Once we finished putting it together, it was pretty cool. There is a wind up motor that makes the portcullis go up when the clock’s pendulum moves. Legos have come so far from when I played with them.

I am grateful for the inventor of Legos.
