Whereabouts in Italy, and would you like any suggestions (food, etc.)? My nieces just got back today from a week there, and I can ask them if you like.
(one definite warning; apparently restrooms are scarce in/around the Colosseum. My three year old grandniece desperately needed to go while there, and all the guide could say was that there weren't any restrooms nearby. Let's just say there's an isolated alcove there where one could get a DNA sample).
