Wow. You and I don't agree on this "season" at all--which is fine, of course. To each their own. But I think they both--RTD and Tennant--should have left last year. "The Next Doctor" was the best of the lot, "Planet of the Dead" was a good solid ep (but I agree, not a special), "Water of Mars" was good up until the end which was way overdone (and made little sense in terms of those two being rescued and everyone apparently just going along with "wait, how did you get off Mars?"). "End of Time" was terrible through and through. Awful writing, and if that was Moffat writing 11 I'm truly depressed because it's more of the same, only goofier. Ugh. And what a terrible note for Tennant AND RTD to go out on--"I don't want to go." That's the best they could do? Definitely should have left last season--people would have been angry about the conclusion of the Donna line but otherwise it was much stronger writing and much stronger for the character.
I will, of course, be watching next season. After "End of Time" I feel it can only get better.
