We had a good time yesterday having a bunch of the usual suspects for Mystery Trekkie Theater which will be performed at Shoreleave. Mike, who will not be a Shoreleave, came to help with the script (Yes folks, there is a script for this) joined us as did Bob, Keith, and Glenn. We ran the episode and worked through the timing which is what takes the longest. The opening sketch is a lot of fun too.

While they were doing that I cut fabric for the rest of the costumes. I now have only one thing to cut out which I am free-handing anyway and some interfacing. I think I will finish one piece and then cut the interfacing for the next piece so I don't get confused. I want to have the clothing for the costumes done by tomorrow which will give me the rest of the week for hand sewing (which there is a lot of) and the other part of one of the costumes, which is rather complicated.

My goal is to have everything done by July 2nd. That will give me a couple of days to finish up some other stuff I would like to have done before the convention. There is one item I want to see if I can cobble it together before the convention. I know how I would do it but nothing gets done until the costumes are done.

I am grateful that I did get as much done as I could on the costumes yesterday.
