Peter got me the Doctor Who boxed set last night. Does the Dance of DVD Joy. He also finished the short story (over 40,000 words) and I got to read the end of it finally since I was wondering what was going to happen next at the point he left me hanging since he hadn't finished writing it yet. I finished my Fourth of July challenge doll and am pretty happy with it. The skirt is made out of a paper lantern and lights up. Now onto the Shoreleave costume and monsters. I really need to find all the pieces of the Mugato now. I have also sorted out all pieces of Ariel's costume expect the cape. That is about 1/2 a day to complete. I want to get everything done by Tuesday so I can clean the house on Wednesday and pack on Thursday along with our other usual activities that day. Let's see how I do.

Caroline is looking at the new Dr. Who Monster book and telling me about the Daleks and the Slytheen. I have tried to convince her that the "robot" is a Cyberman but that hasn't taken yet. Right now she is telling me a story where the Dalek and the Doctor help the Slytheen with the "boo-boo" on his neck. Wouldn't it be funny if years down the road she did write an episode of Dr. Who? She has such an imagination.

Today is errand running and a few other things that must get done today. Then I want to get the fabric for the clothes and hat cut out along with Monster heads and mouths. If I can get that all done I will be pretty happy.

I am grateful for stories of Dr. Who by my little girl.
