5:15 is Early in the Morning

puppetmakerShort entry just 'cause. I am in a bit of a brain fog right now even with coffee running through my veins.
Caroline fell asleep about 6 in the evening after no nap all day. I took her upstairs about 9 and went to bed at 11 so in case she got up at 3 I would have a little sleep. 5:15 she trundles in with pink blanket trailing behind her. She crawled up into the bed without a word, gave me a hug, and then settled down back to sleep. I feel sorry for her husband. She is kicker and a thrasher. About 6:20 she awoke again and asked to watch Robots. I put it on and dozed until about 8:00 when Ariel got up. I can deal with this. I just remember when she was just born I wondered if I was ever going to get a good nights sleep again. Peter informed me that this too shall pass and he was right. At about 4 months she started sleeping for 6 to 8 hour stretches.
I am grateful for the sleep I did get.
