Catching up sort of

puppetmakerI still have a lot of e-mail to plow through. I don't think I am really going to get to it until the weekend as I still have an article to write. Today Peter has a signing in the city at Midtown Comics so we shifted some of our regular schedule around. With any luck tomorrow will be more normal for all of us. I don't think we have anything but our regular activities this weekend. We enjoy conventions and travel but sometimes it is nice to spend the weekend at home as a family.
I still don't know about DragonCon and the Art Show but I am not alone. There was some software glitch that has caused a lot of problems for the D'Con database. They are sorting it out but that is making the waiting that much longer.
I am thinking about redoing and updating my Doctor Who collection and adding the new Doctors so that would be 10 puppets total. I still have 1,2,3,4,6,8 but they all need some work. Some may be total redos but that is not a bad thing since my skills have improved since I made them back in 1996 which would be 10 years ago. Gosh has it been that long? I'm going to pull the old boys out and see what I need to do with them. It would make a fun display at a convention. I also want to make Muchly's kin who have started running through my head. Then there are the masks and other stuff. I am full of ideas. I just need to execute more of them. Since I have fewer costumes for Shoreleave, technically I have the time to do some of these things.
