MMHCI One Year Ago Covid showed up in NYC
Mar. 1st, 2021 08:07 amToday marks the first official patient with the COVID-19 recorded in New York city.
The beginning of our national and global nightmare.
I am proud that I have made it this far with only a couple of meltdowns.
I chalk it up to my family, my friends, my support system, and medication.
It has not been easy, but it is getting easier.
As of today, I can get the vaccine from the New York supply. This will be a lot of checking and refreshing until I get lucky. I am looking forward to getting a crack at the federal supply.
I hate not knowing what is next. That has giving me more anxiety than just about anything else.
At least now I am getting better information in a timely fashion.
Having a job helps my mental health.
Being creative helps my mental health. I have begun to accept my limitations and not beat myself up when I get behind.
I am grateful for everything that helps my mental health.
