Henry V by Shakespeare is probably one of my favorites of the Histories, but Richard II holds the place closest to my heart.

I did get out the graveyard and secure it with these stakes I found that are making me feel much better about the winds we get. The lights are up. The things I want to add this year are probably a day’s worth of work depending on how it goes.

We went pumpkin picking on Friday to the same pumpkin patch that Caroline has been going to for eighteen years.

This is Caroline eighteen years ago. She chose a pumpkin and we carved it up for her.

(For the VI: This is baby Caroline. She is wearing white sneakers, red pants and a pink jacket. She has her hand on a pumpkin.)

Eighteen years later.

(This is Caroline now. She is holding a pumpkin. She is wearing a mask, a green t-shirt, black pants and sneakers. Behind her are a lot of pumpkins.)

How time flies.

Then her life consisted of exploring the world and figuring out how her body works.

Now she is filling out her FASA forms and college applications getting ready for the next chapter in her life.

I have another baker’s cyst behind my right knee. I am just waiting for it to pop and reabsorb into my body. When I feel my knee stiffen up, I get up and walk around and it eases.

I am grateful for all the adventures Caroline has experienced in her life.
