Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.

I love the works of Douglas Adams. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy has a lot of meaning in my family. Certain lines and phrases are part of our family language.
The phrase that popped into my head yesterday was “Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.”
And that is so true right now. Time has very little meaning.
The days breakdown into breakfast, lunch, and dinner or morning then evening. I honestly have stopped looking at the clock as it really doesn’t tell me anything I need to know.
This is how my day breaks down right now.
I get up and go downstairs to the cat chorus of ‘where is my breakfast?’ I feed the cats and make sure that each has a shot at the wet food they get in the morning.
Then I make coffee and put away the dishes.
I write in my paper journal and record things I need to keep an eye on. A big one is how I am feeling at that moment in time.
This web log is next on the list of things to do.
After that is whatever I have on my list for the day and whatever pops up.
At some point after lunch, Caroline and I go on a walk. I look forward to this because we get out of the house and we have been able get to know each other better.
About 6 I start dinner then we settle in to watching some form of entertainment until bedtime.
Rinse and repeat.
That, with a few exceptions, has been my life in a nutshell for the last month.
I have been able to make things like masks for people. I have a plan for the UFOs.
Today I am taking a day off and trying to get my back in order. So heating pad and anti-inflammatories are my friends today per my Doctor’s orders.
I am grateful for the passage of time.
