Comfortable Keyboard
Aug. 5th, 2019 10:31 amI have my laptop back and it feels good.
The keyboard feels right under my fingers. My typing speed is up from what it was on Peter’s ergonomic keyboard. On the other hand he is much faster on that keyboard than this one. It is a matter of what feels familiar.
Peter got back last night and now the house feels balanced. Again the familiar dynamics of our lives are back in place.
The cats have forgiven us for leaving them. They have worked out a rotation so that I always have a cat at my hip wanting pets. This morning they went to their usual spots to nap after checking in with me.
Today is laundry and puppet planning so I can build that which I need to build before DragonCon.
Caroline has worked out her social calendar with her obligations to spend time with friends before school starts.
Tomorrow with be the next set of tasks that must be done.
This weekend we have everyone home so we will probably do the things we do as a group on the weekend. Next week Peter is off to another convention. Then he is home for a weekend and then off to DragonCon.
We get back from DragonCon and we go back to the school routine for Caroline’s junior year.
I am grateful for routines.
