I really don't mind when people tell me how much Pete’s writing means to them. Never apologize for the fact that he has moved you or helped you in anyway.

I was a fan before I was his girlfriend. There were times that I read something he did and didn't realize it until years later after we were together. He wrote some of my favorite Star Trek novels along with a lot of comic books I enjoyed over the years.

After we started dating, I got to know Peter the man as well as Peter David writer of stuff and I fell in love with him.

Still am in love with him a little more each and every day.

I am very lucky that I have him in my life.

I think we compliment each other in so many ways. I know we have each other’s backs.

We encourage each other to be best in our creative endeavors. We help each other as sounding boards. We build on ideas. A lot of conversations are extended ‘what if?’ discussions were ideas are toyed with and either used or placed back for the next time.

We are good parents to Caroline. She knows were we stand and what is and is not allowed. She says her biggest fear is disappointing us which I told her was our fear about our parents when we were her age. I think that is a good thing.

We are a team and feel very happy that we have each other.

So Happy Birthday Peter. We have a nice day planned out with a few changes due to life.

I am so very grateful that Peter is in my life.
