puppetmaker: (Secret of Sherlock Holmes)
I have been rereading, thanks to the Facebook Memory button, a number of the web log entries that I wrote while we were dealing with the stroke. We are still dealing with some of the fall out from the stroke but not the stroke itself anymore. Right now we are at the point where life was getting pretty much back to normal and we were glad for it. Still glad that Peter is Peter. I have a friend who has been going through much worse after her husband had a stroke and he is, apparently, in a locked in state, which could have happened to Peter.

I need to sit down and write out the puppet schedule for the next sets of puppets. I have five weeks to get about 20 puppets total (maybe less) done before Shoreleave. Plus costumes for various things. Plus two short stories and continuing on my novel.

Good thing my new wake up time seems to be 6 AM after going to bed around 10 PM for the second night in a row. I do feel pretty clear headed right now and able to put thoughts together without something slipping.

Mornings are when I am at my best which is a serious switch from my 20s and 30s where night use to be when I was at my best.

Caroline has four more days of school and then it is off to final exams and the like. After that we get to work out our Summer Schedule. She is happy to discover that the gym hours expand for her over the summer. Now we just have to get the pool schedule and we will be good.

Inky is trying to meld with my hip.

My back has not been too happy with me for the past couple of days. I figure that the long periods of sitting led to this. I passed on the gym for a couple of days to let it rest. I went yesterday and was able to do a limited workout. I figure that is better than no workout. This morning it is more of a twinge than a stabbing pain so I am going to take that as a good sign.

I am going to have to sit down and figure out the next couple of weeks. I have the materials for most of the projects on hand. What I don’t have at this point will be recreated by some clever method that I will come up with on the fly.

I know what I can and cannot do now I just have pull the pieces together and do it.

I am grateful for my back allowing me to workout again.

Which I wrote on 6/10 just didn't post so I am doing that now.
