Small Business Saturday 2015

This started five years ago where it is strongly suggested that after one shops the big box stories on Friday, one should take a look at the smaller stories and businesses on Saturday. The local businesses need your money as much as the big box stories.

And I would like to encourage that you look at local artisans as well. There are a lot of artists out there offering work that makes lovely gifts that your friends and family.

I would like to give you another place to go look for fun gifts.

I have a lot of friends who make lovely jewelry and dolls and art.

So go out and have a look at what you can’t get in a big box store.
