Everyone stop singing songs from Frozen

Because the cold is starting to bother me or rather the wet and cold.

We are looking at another snowstorm heading our direction. Now we also have two high-pressure systems fighting it out for dominance. If the one on the south side wins, there will be much less snow and more rain/sleet. If the one on the north side wins, we get buried again having just gotten rid of a majority of the last couple of storms.

I am hoping that Frozen wins the Oscar for best animated movie and Spring shows up the next day. That’s hoping not believing.

We will be watching the Oscars. Peter will be blogging it live. Caroline will be doing fashion commentary for the preshow.

Then next week we get back to Storybrooke or the Enchanted Forest as Once Upon a Time returns now with flying monkeys. Considering where we left our heroes, this should be interesting.

Today is about getting things done (catboxes) that need to be done before we are snowed in again. You can’t find salt in the area. The stores are selling pool salt since they are out of winter salt. I am Ok for one more storm then I think we are to kitty litter.

To my friends in the west who are getting hammered by rain, be safe. To my friends in the Midwest who are already dealing with the storm, be safe and warm. To my east coast buddies, be safe and sensible.


I have my French toast kit along with sufficient toilet paper. So bring on the storm. The cold never bothered me anyway.

I am grateful for having enough salt for another storm.
