Baby it's COLD outside
Jan. 23rd, 2014 09:54 amAnd it is ever. I am so glad that I shoveled yesterday. Today is about keeping warm. I have on my fuzzy warm socks to keep my feet warm. If my feet are warm, I am pretty much good. Once my feet get cold, I am cold. I am also glad that I salted yesterday because our front walk is clear of ice. Not so much for other walks. Caroline bundled up to a fare thee well to keep her skin from freezing. I am suffering the facial effects from exposed skin and sub zero winds. I am hoping that it will look better as the day goes on because right now my face is scary (OK more scary than usual).
It is so cold that the furnace is having a hard time keeping the house at a reduced temperature. I am hoping that these frigid conditions don’t continue much further but I am seriously afraid that it will.
We have been watching Opposite Worlds. Caroline became very invested with the team that seems to be stuck in the past. She thinks that the team in the future is not very nice. Which is interesting because I watched the same show as her and I could see plenty of edits to make things more drama filled than I thought they were. They also have brought the viewer into the mix allowing them to vote for or against individuals and choose the reward given to the players. I am trying to figure out how closely they are shooting this to the actual time that it is airing. I am wondering if there isn’t a cheat in the whole mix or if they are doing actual time. Wherever they are, it is very cold to be standing around in furry bikinis.
The show runners for Once Upon a Time have been putting up some interesting tweets and answering questions cryptically. More so I think than before the photo leak for the last episode of the first half. Either way I am so looking forward to that show coming back on the air. They are filming right now.
Supernatural killed it in the ratings this week. Why is this even a little important? Well one of the actors got into it with Beiber on twitter I think. And the Beiber fans declared a boycott (like any of them watched it anyway) and the Supernatural fans took this as a challenge and encouraged people to watch the next episode as did members of the cast. They got the highest ratings they have had in 3 years. Power of the fans is a wonderful but dangerous thing.
Trying to think of something witty to say but I think my brain is frozen.
The cats have been cuddling up to us more than usual. I think we are keeping each other warm. Last night I had one cat on one foot and the other on the other foot.
So those in the fro-zone keep warm and those in the warm zone enjoy the day.
I am grateful that I can get the truck out today not that I am going anywhere but if I had to, I could.
