RTBTCKI: A serious attack of the Mondays
Oct. 7th, 2013 09:11 amCaroline had a good weekend. She spent Saturday at the birthday party of a friend that she doesn’t see as often as she would like. Sunday we saw Gravity (more on that later) and she spent the afternoon with her father for some Daddy/Daughter time which is important to her. One of her fears post stroke is that she would never be able to have that time with her father again so she is very grateful when it does happen.
My weekend was not as productive as I would have liked. Yesterday was a total bust for getting anything beside the essentials that had to be done, done. I did get to watch the Giants lose and fall to a miserable 0-5. Something has gone seriously wrong with that team. I then watched most of the Bronco vs. the Cowboys, which turned into one heck of a game.
This week is one of those that are going to set the tone for probably the rest of the year. Think good thoughts that we have some solid good news that will help with the conundrum we find ourselves in. That and either buy or encourage others to buy Peter’s Crazy 8 books.
I am planning out the day. I have things I need to do before the rain comes in. The cat boxes come screamingly to mind and are first on my list. Then the rest of the list is going to be checked off one piece at a time. But outdoor stuff first and then the indoor stuff.
Sometimes I think I am writing in a vacuum but when I go to conventions, people tell me how much they have enjoyed reading my blog. I picked up a number of people after Peter’s stroke and held on to many of them because they liked my ramblings.
NYCC is this next weekend. Peter is at table B5 in the artist alley. I am collecting other people’s table #’s so I can visit with my buddies. There is a slight chance that Caroline and I will be unable to attend but right now we are a go. No, we didn’t find another cat up the tree but there are other reasons I don’t care to go into. If Caroline is there, it will be Saturday and Sunday. She will be doing drawings and signing copies of Fearless.
Off to do the outdoor stuff before it gets messy.
Wishing all of you a pleasant day and thank you for reading.
I am grateful for help in all its myriad forms.
