RTBTCKI The I have my new Glasses edition
Jul. 15th, 2013 08:23 amI have new glasses and the number of headaches is going down accordingly. I am amazed how much a difference glasses make. Again they are only for close work but I do a lot of that.
Our SDCC dance card is filling up rather fast. We have most meals planned out along with Peter’s schedule. We have built time within the schedule if Peter need a break. Should be fun.
Caroline is having a blast and a half with her sister in Florida. She does say that she misses us and loves us and we tell her the same. I hope she does have a great time with her friends down there. That kid really deserves some fun considering everything that has gone on this year.
I got something on my fingers this morning that caused a reaction and now I have blisters on various digits. It looks like an allergic reaction to something. I have washed my hands several times but I have white patches on some that are blistering now. Felt very painful when this started but now it itches. No swelling or redness and the white seems to be receding so I am hoping whatever it was, it is going away now.
Looking forward to seeing a lot of my friends at SDCC. I have been making notes of people table numbers so I can find them. We are not attached to a table so will be free roaming professionals in their native habitat. I don’t think we are going to try for any of the big panels unless we can get some way to get Peter in and seating quickly. He is not in shape to stand in a line for just about any length of time other than really short.
I declare today a cleaning day and tomorrow an errands and packing day.
Caroline’s cat Fig misses her. We have seen her standing outside Caroline’s door mewing pitifully. Also she is picking things that belong to Caroline to sleep on. She is also sitting looking at the front door about the time that Caroline would be coming home from school. No, I don’t know how a cat tells time.
So off to clean and get ready for more travel. It just gets busier from here.
I am grateful for new glasses that help me see without eye strain.
