And I need to slow down and breath.
I keep finding myself not breathing or catching my breath and I have to remind myself not to hold onto my breath so long.
If you have been watching Caprica (which I think is a splendid series), know that SyFy is dumping the last 5 episodes today (6-11). If you have been using your DVR to record the episodes, you are about to lose 5 hours of space on it. I have a sad feeling that some people aren’t going to get the end because a lot of us have a lot on our DVRs.
We just got 12 pieces of mail in our mailbox. Out of that, only two were things that could not be classified as junk mail. Paper recycling isn’t until next week and this is starting to stack up.
Listening to the local sports radio channel has been interesting. A lot of end of the season talk about the Giants and playoff talk about the Jets. Some baseball and a little basketball with hockey thrown in for good measure because they air hockey games.
Fig has been getting into trouble. This is what usual happens when a kitten grows to not be small enough to get into spaces she use to be able to get into but insists on trying to get into it. This has also involved the destruction of many towns that Caroline has created with her blocks and several towers made of Lincoln Logs as well. She also got stuck trying to get under a bookshelf that she could when she was much smaller. Best had to be when she got into a box and then managed to tip the box over so she was sealing in.
Caroline is fine being back in school. In fact I think she is glad that vacation is over and things are back to normal.
Gwen stopped by yesterday with her boyfriend. We had a nice lunch and conversation. Caroline got to see Gwen after she was done with school. It was a nice visit.
Today I think I am going to do what I have needed to do for a while. That is tear out all the devices that go to the TV and rework the wires for our new gaming platforms. This is probably going to take most of the day to do and I might have to get a new switcher box if I can’t get this one behave.
I have to figure out how I am going to get the X-Box motion sensor and the Wii motion sensor to be within what we need without having to move them every time we want to use the other device.
I am grateful for electronics that behave.
