RTBTCKI (The My glasses are broken Edition)
I guess broken (lost screw) is better than all out lost which I though had happened outside of Washington DC when I went from the interior of the car to the trunk and they dropped out of my pocket. So I need to go visit my friendly neighborhood eye store and get them fixed.
The loss of the glasses made it hard to do a whole bunch of detailed stuff and reading was not in the cards because it gives me headaches if I try to read for too long without the glasses.
Kitty politics has reached pretty much a status quo. Fig is now being locked up with the big boys when I need to and there is not a whole lot of yowling going on. Also she has found her place in the cat pile so I know that on some level either she has been accepted or the boys now don’t remember a time she was not around.
Ah Giants. You can’t leave your fate in the hands of others. I know that the fans are going to be speculating and second guessing your season until you start to play next year and then they will either have something to cheer about or complain about and honestly I don’t know which they like better.
Dear Jets, good luck. You have drawn the Colts and they are pretty determined. You made it in by some good luck and the skin of your teeth not your stellar record (which was pretty doggone good this year). So don’t get cocky and remember it is one and done at this point.
Unless something unusual happens, I see the Pats going all the way this year. Brady seems to be unstoppable unless someone seriously stops him so hard he has to leave the game.
I am of two minds about something I want to do today. I figure that I’ll make my decision based on what other people need/want to do. The only thing I must do is get my glasses fixed which I can’t really do until they open at 11.
I am grateful that one New York team made it into the playoff mix.
