Where did the Year go? 2010 edition first entry

My father informed my daughter that her birthday is in three weeks. Thanksgiving is in a week and a half! It is November! Where did the year go?

I know we have done a lot this year. And a lot has been done to us some good some bad but it beats the alternative.

Football was interesting. The Cowboys came in to prove something to the Giants and did it in spades. The Jets lucked into another win. A couple of calls the other way and it would have been the Browns game. More home teams won this week than I think has happened this year. Some seriously good overtime games. Falcons won which surprised me a bit.

College is the usual mess that it always is with rankings that means something to some and nothing to others except to argue that the system stinks. I’m wondering when the Auburn thing is just going to implode. I have to give the team credit for a game well played considering the microscope they are under right now.

Basketball is interesting in the last 10 minutes. College hoops is just starting with the usual teams doing the usual things.

Today is a busy day with various things that must be done so off I go to do them.

I am grateful for parents who understand.
