One Good Deed 2010
Sep. 11th, 2010 07:46 amhas changed its name to a Day of National Service which doesn't sit as well with me but it is the same group of people with about the same idea.
One Good Deed was a website where you could find either a charity you could help or something you could do. (more info here)
It brings to attention what happened after the towers fell. We got together and helped each other. I choose to memorialize this day by doing something positive rather than dwelling on that which I can not change.
Today I am going up to SHU to get Ariel the stuff that she left and bringing one of her good friends with me to see her.
I am grateful that the morning meeting 9 years ago down by the World Trade Center was changed to an afternoon meeting the day before.
