In that I didn’t get half of what I wanted to get done, well, done. The skies opened up and I had to pick Caroline up from camp after an hour which removed the time I had to work without having to keep an eye on her.

But it is all good. I got some stuff done and hope to get more done today.

Peter has posted his SDCC schedule at his website (www.peterdavid.net) and I started an “ask the wife and daughters” thread on the same site.

I listen to NPR in the morning and it usually gives me a couple of things to think about. Today is it about being connected and information overload. Because we are so connected we can magpie our way around looking from shiny to shiny without going into the depth of the first shiny we found interesting. And in doing so, we feel a little overloaded. It’s great that we can find info on the most trivial thing, but maybe we need to slow down and do something with the information presented to us.

I am grateful for thinking time even when I don’t think I need it which is when I need it the most.

And a big hello to anyone who is wandering over from [livejournal.com profile] popfiend’s friending frenzy. Feel free to pull up a chair and stay a bit.
