I have a little list of all the stuff that needs to be done before we head off to Atlanta for Christmas. Our older cat/house sitter is back in town and happy to take care of the hairballs while we are gone. The cats have no idea what is happening right now except that the suitcases are making a reappearance again. But we have been pulling them out and putting them away so many times this fall, they are not even blinking about it anymore.
Caroline has school today and tomorrow but I am expecting that a lot of her little friends are already gone for the holidays. The teachers are keeping it simple this week. And they lost a day due to the snow day that we needed to take yesterday. It is still a little hazardous and not everyone has cleared their walk including where the bus stop is suppose to be. And I don’t think they are going to do anything about it before Christmas.
Caroline is getting a little more excited each day about Christmas. She got to wave to Santa who came by on a fire truck the other night. She has told Santa what she wants for Christmas (a zebra). It is fun seeing the holiday through younger eyes.
Ariel is enjoying being home and eating home cooked meals again. She is reading and relaxing. With any luck she is going to do laundry today or tomorrow so she has clothes for the trip.
Today I think is a quick clean up day and we may be going to see Avatar.
I am grateful for all has been done and all that will get done today.
