And the Day is?
Nov. 4th, 2009 08:39 amI am having a hard enough time keeping up with date, day and time but to add to the mix, the kids had off from school because it was election day and they don’t feel that they can secure the schools well enough when a ton of strangers are wandering through to vote. Also in many schools the voting booths are in a cafeteria so food service is a bit of a problem.
We took Caroline and one of her friends to an indoor playground so they could run around to their hearts content. They did that for two hours before we brought them home. They played at our house until about 6:30 where it was pitch dark outside. Still adjusting to the time change but my internal body clock is much more in sync now.
Today I have to get out the paper recycling which I have a good start on but two weeks worth of mail during an election generates a lot of paper to be recycled. So that is first and then the novel and then well whatever comes screaming to the top of the list of things I must do or else. I figure in another week I will have this under control.
The temperature is much colder than it was yesterday. The leaves are falling and that adds another chore to the list right now. Maybe I’ll mulch with the mower this year and add it to the compose heap.
