RTBTCKI ( Back in the USA edition)
Oct. 28th, 2009 12:11 pmSo we lost Wednesday going over and Tuesday didn’t end for two days coming back. Thank you International Date Line. So, even though my amazing husband Peter who is the bestest husband in the world let me sleep in, I am a little punchy this morning. I can call it morning it is before noon.
Caroline was quite the trooper Tuesday (both of them). She followed direction and stayed with us. We had to clear customs in LA and then get to our plane to New York and she was awake and helpful even though she had about 4 hours sleep due to all the time changes. She went to bed at a reasonable hour last night and got up at a reasonable hour this morning. We didn’t send her to school today to give her a day to work out the time zones that she flew through but she will be going tomorrow.
My coffee tastes bland next to the stiff European coffee I have been drinking for two weeks.
I am honestly still processing the two weeks we were gone. I also have to go through all the stuff that arrived while I was out of time and the laundry. I have to find were I stashed some stuff for the trip home. I was in auto-pack to make sure that everything made it back. So there was a bit of an explosion while I sorted out what went where.
I am trying to solve a Snow Leopard driver problem with the photo printer. I might have more luck if I try Peter’s computer but I want to see if I can solve it today. I have downloaded the driver and now I have to figure out how to install it. I can print using my other printer but I really want to get our new one to work.
Again a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who was involved in the Armageddon Expo. Y’all just rawked. We had a great time and we appreciate the time that you all took with us. Caroline has lots of fond memories that would not be possible without your efforts.
More I am sure as my brain returns to this time zone.
Off to get the living room back in some sort of order. So we can walk without stubbing our toes.
I am grateful to everyone from Staff to Owners to the guests and all the fans that we met at both conventions.
