First a moment of silence for the Mets who lost on an unassisted triple play. . .Ok that’s enough. Just when you think they could not come up with a more interesting way to lose, they do just that.

Peter and I went to a Long Island Ducks game last night. The Ducks won 13 to 2 and a fun time was had by all. Ariel took care of Caroline so Peter and I might see the whole ball game since Caroline tends to get bored about the 5th inning.

This is going to be a killer week. I have a lot going on in so many fields. Ariel leaves for college on Friday. DragonCon is a little over a week and a half away.

Today is all about the puppets and getting Ariel those containers she needs for college to pack in. They don’t have closets as such so she is going to need storage that will fit under her bed.

Tomorrow is more about puppets and getting another thing off the Ariel list so she can move that much further to getting to college.

Wednesday is the same song third verse and I am sure you can see where this is going.

As her sisters before her, Caroline has joined the cult of the American Girl Doll. She picked Chrissa the 2009 doll of the year. The reason she picked Chrissa is that the doll looks like her Aunt Sheila. So all the clothes for the dolls have been brought out again along with the dolls that belonged to her other sisters. She is having lots of fun playing dolls with her sister and her sister’s friends who are pulling out their dolls to play with Caroline.

With any luck (hahaha) by the weekend I will be starting to get us ready for DragonCon. I need to remake Peter’s signage and pack up what we are bringing to sell.

I have laundry in the dryer and the washer. I have picked up the kitchen. And now I am off to the work table to cut out some shirts, jackets, and a pair of overalls.

I am grateful that my friend Mary Aileen taught me the proper way to pick up a cat.
