Peter got back at about 6:30 this morning. Ariel left for a babysitting gig at 5:45 this morning and will be back later this afternoon. At 2:15 this morning Caroline declared that she had a very bad dream about bugs and wanted to sleep with me since Daddy wasn’t back yet. Since she hadn’t done this all week, I allowed her to do so. She fell back to sleep quickly with her arms wrapped tightly around mine. I can’t say I did much of the same but it was OK. Peter let me catch up a bit this morning and I am sure that I will sleep better tonight since he is home.
The weather is sorting out what it is going to do. We might get some rain and we might not. I wish I knew which it was going to be since if not I need to water the grass that is in the sun the whole day.
I might have to manufacture the cloth I need for one of the puppets. I found the right shade but I am still trying to sort out whether there are stripes on the shirt or not. I guess a visit to the Doctor Who costuming group would not be out of line but I hope I don’t end up with the problem I had when we were trying to figure out Doctor #8’s coat color (brown or deep green or ?) Never got an official call on that one.
So I figure I should cut foam and glue before (if) the rains come. With any luck I have enough for what I want to do.
I am grateful that my husband is home safe and sound.
