Tra la It's May
May. 1st, 2008 07:59 amYes it is May 1st which means it is my annual listening to Julie Andrews singing 'The Lusty Month of May'. I'll probably listen to the rest of the Camelot soundtrack as well.
Happy (insert your celebration or religious holiday here) to you. There are so many that are attached to May 1st that I am not going to list them out.
Last night our heat went out. That would not be so bad but we had frost on the lawn this morning so the house was cold. Also since that feeds the hot water to the house, we had no hot water this morning. I solved it with the reset button and we have heat now but it did get below 50 in the house this morning. If this keeps happening, I plan a call to our local service center for them to take a look at it.
Ariel is packed up and I have to take her to the airport today for her flight out to see Myra.
Continue to think good thoughts for Peter. Since he talked about it in his blog, I can finally say that he is in LA pitching an animated series to various studios. He went to the Iron Man premiere last night and I am sure has a tale or two to tell from that.
I need to go and see if my glasses need fixed or re-adjusting. They are not sitting well on my face and I think that is putting the correction off a little which may be causing some eye straining.
More cleaning today I think between errands. Or may be I'll collapse all the errands into today and clean tomorrow.
I am grateful that Peter got to go to an LA premiere of a film and the cast party afterwards.
