I awoke early to the pungent odor of cigarette smoke in our hotel room which was weird because we are on a no smoking floor. Eventually we sorted out with the Hotel that the man in the room next to us believed that no smoking meant that he could smoke in the bathroom which we shared a common ventilation system. But that started my day with a slight allergic reaction that became progressively worse during the day.

That was the only really downer to an otherwise magnificent day. I caught up with news with a number of people, got to see the Art Show and other activities at the convention, and had some time with Peter which was really nice.

Peter did a couple of panels, a reading from Tigerheart, and signed autographs.

We went to dinner at a very nice restaurant on the property called "Dinner in the Diner" which is not a kid friendly but very adult friendly. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. Not the cheapest meal by any means but if you live up in Chattanooga well worth it.

Later that evening we went to see the Masquerade which was once the crown jewel of ChattaCon. There were some very nice costumes in the show but overall we are in the lull of that happens in every show when the next generation of costumers starts up the ladder. The MC was bemoaning that he had lost his messenger bag at the Wrestling Party (which was Sean's party) and asked if anyone finds it could they get it back to him since his car keys were in it along with a bottle of Wild Turkey.

Later that evening, I went by Sean's room to talk to my siblings and other friends who were there cleaning up from the party the night before. And sitting on the table was (One guess.....Yeah you go it) a messenger bag that was unclaimed with a bottle of Wild Turkey within it. Since I had been at the Masquerade, I could tell Sean who's it was. I took the bag and handed over to one of the convention honchos and it started its journey back to its owner which I think it succeeded before the night was over.

Today we pack up, say our good-byes, pick up the girls, and head home.

I am grateful for all the fun I had at ChattaCon.
