So I wrap up this week back home. We had a good visit with my various in-laws. Some of them I hadn't seen in a while but the Internet has made it easier to keep up with them.
Caroline finally had that sleep-over she had been dreaming about since before her last birthday. We invited her cousins to join us at our hotel room giving their parents, who had hosted the feast, a chance to clean up and have some uninterrupted time with each other. So we had three girls between the ages of 4 and 6 giggling while watching Disney DVDs and finally falling asleep one by one. They had a lot of fun. Ariel was a big help with the girls.
I am thankful that you are reading this. I may know you or I may not. You may know me outside what you read here and this may be the only way you know me. You may know me because of who my husband is and yeah I think he is pretty cool too. But for whatever reason you stop by here, I am thankful.
I am thankful that my husband can do what he loves to do for a living. He has a great gift as a writer. I thought that before we met each other oh so many years ago. I knew I was going to get a good read if I saw his name. Now I help him with his writings in various ways but I still am in awe of his skills and abilities.
I am thankful for fans of various things that I have interacted with for various reasons. I like sharing with others and I love talking to people who share my interests. I have made many a life long friendship out of people I met in Fandom.
I am thankful I didn't have to deal with Black Friday. Been there, done that, had the t-shirt, and burned it. I swear they pump something in the air at some of the stores with the way people behave or rather misbehave.
I am grateful that the trip home was so easy.
