Oh I know I need to do a New Who Review for "Gridlock" but it may be a day or so. I am figuring Monday if I remember which day that is. I got stuck on that yesterday was Friday even though it was Saturday. Now I know today is Sunday.

Saturday
We got in after a harrowing time at the airport. Apparently I am on the "no fly" list because my name "looks" like someone else's and therefore I have to present my physical body to prove I am not this other individual. There are ways to getting off the list and I am starting the paperwork on them. If anyone else has dealt with this situation, I would love any tips and/or pointers you have so I can clear this up ASAP.

After we go on the plane, things calmed down. I read Harry Potter and Caroline fell asleep. Peter was reading his copy of the book as well. We arrived in Orlando, got our car and headed out to our hotel on Disney Property. Peter ran a few errands including picking Ariel up from Myra while I took Caroline swimming. And she can swim. She is still learning but I know if she falls into a body of water, she knows enough to swim to the edge. She likes swimming underwater best. So she practiced what her swim teacher had taught her and we had a great time until the thunderstorm rolled in and dumped a bunch of rain on us. I got her out of the pool at the first sign of lighting and we beat the rain but not by much. So I finished reading Harry Potter and thought that she did a very nice job with it. As a reader I am satisfied with the conclusion and if she never writes another word about the mythos she created I'm OK with that. Then again if she starts another series, I would be willing to read that one too.

That evening Peter and I went to the Adventures Club and had a grand time. We ended up cutting it short a bit because we had been up since 5:30 AM but we made it through the Balderdash Cup.

Sunday (so far)
We woke up about 7:30 and I went into Caroline and Ariel's room to find Caroline cheerfully playing with her toys. She asked if she could go swimming so Peter and I took her to the pool for a while. She had a great time.

Then Ariel took her to a Royal tea party with Princess Aurora presiding. Except for kicking over a table, she did really well there and had a lot of fun. She also got a Dolly dressed up as Princess Aurora which she loves dearly.

We took her back to the hotel and had her change her clothes so she had her Dora shirt and pants on. She put Aurora to bed and grabbed Simba and we were off to Animal kingdom where we joined up with some of our friends. I took Caroline to the Dino Park and we rode the flying stegosaurus and then she played in the play park (aka the dig site) until Ariel and Peter got back from Ariel riding Expedition Everest which she loved.

We then went and saw the new Finding Nemo the Musical show with the bonus of one of our friends taking over a role they have performed before because of injury to the principle actor. I loved it. I loved the puppets and the performance. They did a number of neat tricks with the puppets. It was sort of a cross between Lion King and Cirque du Soleil. Caroline watched parts of it. She hid when the sharks came out and a few of the other scary parts but what she did watch she enjoyed thoroughly. I recommend it very highly. We did a few other minor things and then came back to the hotel room where I am typing this up.

This evening we are playing things by ear. We might go to another park or we might just stay in and take it easy. Caroline is the deciding factor here because she sets the pace. I do know I want her to cool down before we go out again.

I am grateful that Caroline and Ariel had such fun at the tea party.
