Stargate SG-1
Jun. 23rd, 2007 08:02 amStargate was one of those series that I picked up when I could. It was a show that I liked but I didn't have to see very episode of it. I was more of a regular watcher once it was on Sci-Fi and I have seen most of the spin off. Last night I sat down and watched the last episode of SG-1. Without spoilers (which are allowed in the comments so you have been warned), I can see the comparison with the end of the Sopranos but I thought of the two the SG-1 ending was better. Overall I thought it was a good episode to go out on. Enough questions answered and it was a character driven episode which tended to be their better episodes any way. Stargate Atlantis ending was about where I expected them to end it. I think that the focus will be better now that they are down to one series to deal with. Also Jewel is now a regular cast member so you know the David Family is going to watch it.
I did get Caroline's toys picked up in the living room so we have some space for guests. Just removing a majority of the stuff toys that had wandered downstairs made a big difference. I have a few more things I want to tweak before we have guests, but overall I am not unhappy about the living room. Caroline continues to make progress in her swimming lessons. Each time she gets a little braver and does a little more that will allow her to swim on her own soon. I am very proud of her. She got up early this morning, came down stairs, and went back to sleep on the living room couch. She is so cute right now.
So today is all about cutting fabric. I want to finish up cutting out all that I need to sew on the machine for the clothing. Then I am onto the other part of this project which will have a lot of hand sewing involved.
I am grateful that Peter took Caroline to her swim lesson giving me time to pick up her toys.
