The rain has given way to sun and a nice breeze today. I can't take Caroline to her usual playground because it takes 24 hours to drain after the amount of rain we received. There is another one I will probably take her to later this afternoon if it doesn't get too hot. I do know that I don't need to water the lawn.
Paris Hilton is in jail where she can't drive and possibly hurt someone beside herself. Lindsey Lohan is in rehab and I really hope she deals with the issues behind her self-destructive behavior. Although I am betting that she will have a harder time putting her career together than Robert Downey Jr. did. Right now no insurance company would touch the bond for any film she was part of. The paparazzi are going to have to go on a photo diet for a while although I am sure they will find someone else who is "famous" doing something stupid that "journalists" will pay through the nose for. I guess "Dirt" was not that far fetched. Out of the two I feel sorry for Lohan. She is a really good actress who got caught up in being Hollywierd. I just hope she doesn't end up where River did. Paris Hilton has yet to prove to be anything but space filler and an object of derision.
Caroline is in her puzzle constructing mode. She is putting together her puzzles one after the other. Some are big floor puzzles and others are smaller table puzzles. The most complicated one has over 60 pieces but she is now doing that one pretty fast so I think I can move her up to the next size. Her father asked her what one of the pictures she drew was. She described what each thing was on the piece of paper and then declared proudly, "I'm an artist!" We hardily agree with her.
I am grateful that my daughter sees herself as an artist.
