NaNo No More
Nov. 15th, 2006 09:18 amWell stick a fork in it I think I am done this month unless something happens that extends the amount of time I have to get other things done around the house. I am going to try to keep up with the word count the rest of the month but the five day gap has probably killed my chances of making the 50,000 words. It was nobody's fault more became the victim of circumstance. Part of it I think had to do with what I am calling now an allergy attack since the symptoms cleared up faster than a cold clears up for me. I am a bit disappointed with myself but I am not beating myself up over it.
For one thing we have Caroline's Birthday Party coming up in less than a month so I want to get the house ready for that. For another with Christmas coming up I want to see if I can sell some Fluzzies (more on that in a day or so) which takes time. Also I have a couple of screwy ideas for the next couple of art shows again those sorts of things take time. I also have two doll challenges and probably one I have forgotten.
Today my basic goals are to get the larder restocked and a few other errands that I have needed to run done. Oh that and stop sniffing. I am tired of sniffing and the inner nose itch and the general brain fuzziness that seem to be hanging on.
Caroline is now very interested in how we feel about her and our emotional state in general. She will ask me if I am happy or sad or angry. She has also being saying the phrase "I love you" a lot more than she ever had before. She is expressing how she feels with a situation she encounters. We're still working on how far away her birthday is. She seems stuck on two months when it is now less than a month. I figure once we get through Thanksgiving she'll get it. She has been looking through lots of toy catalogues that come through this house telling us what she wants. We did get her the present that has not changed in her litany. She wants a My Little Pony walking Pony. We got one when they came out and it has been a pretty popular toy out here so it was a good thing we did.
Oh my new Icon is one of the Paper Dolls I made for the Paper Doll challenge.
