Health Update

I had the spider bite checked out after I had one heck of a dizzy spell. For those who have occasionally imbibed a bit more than they should I can describe it at a bad case of "bed spins" that wouldn't go away. Thus killing any chance of driving anywhere and getting any errands done. Fortunately my GP has office hours on Saturday so I made an appointment and was checked head to toe. It turns out that I was running a low fever and have a raging sinus infection which is throwing off my balance. Nothing to do with the spider bite which they checked out carefully. I was given some kicking antihistamines for both the sinuses and the bite and an antibiotic that is not part of the penicillin family which I am now highly allergic to. So I am on rest, fluids, and taking it easy for a couple of days to let my body regroup. Needless to say not much else got done yesterday.

Baseball is a great game to me. I know others can't stand it but I love it. My biggest fear is that the Yankees are gonna clinch before the Mets do the way things are going. The Mets are going to get into the playoffs on a Phillie loss rather than a Mets win. (Yea I can hear you laughing in the background Keith)

Now I am working on getting my brain to function again. I had a couple of rants and how some news is really not news it is just how things have been done for a while you just didn't notice it. Also one about copyright and the internet and how companies like Live Journal, My Space, and the Blog Spot have carefully phrased the membership agreements to cover their legal ass(ets) and leave your hanging free in the wind. Or this woman I heard on the radio this morning on the sports station talking total BS about teenage females and sports and image and how hard it is for these girls to live in our society as ti stands. But I am too tired right now. Maybe another day.

I am grateful that the bite was just a bite and nothing more.
