For the first time since we returned from Florida I didn’t want to run back inside my house to the air conditioning after getting the paper. That much touted cool air seems to have finally made it to my neck of the woods. It is amazing what a difference 10 degrees and a lack of humidity will make.

For you Henson fans out there. Jim Henson’s Return to Labyrinth by TokyoPop is in comic books shops and bookstores this week. There is a preview for their Dark Crystal manga as well. Both are done in a manga style. Apparently the Labyrinth books are a 3 issue series. I am withholding judgment until I read all three since I have learned a lot about the writing of comics from my Husband.

Peter’s book Writing Comics with Peter David is selling well. I have had people tell me how much they have enjoyed it and that it is an excellent resource for those who want to take a stab at writing comics as to how it is done. I am quite proud of it since I helped on a number of things for it.

Caroline is 3 years and 8 months old today. She is rapidly heading for the age of 4. I never really understood how fast time could move until I had her. Now it seems like lighting. Yesterday we played Monsters. I was Mommy Monster, Ariel was Ariel Monster, and Caroline was Caroline Monster. A lot of roaring was involved along with chasing and giggling. A good time was had by all.

A little more work done on the puppets. It is time for me to kick it into high gear if I have a snowballs change in Dante’s upper Hell of getting everything done. I have less time than I think.

I am grateful for playing Mommy Monster yesterday. Raaaawwwwrrrrrrr.
