Need to hit the play button.
Jun. 8th, 2006 10:06 amShana has come up for a short visit to take care of some things that she needs to do. Caroline loves having another sister to play with. I think Shana is having fun with her too. Good thing I got the spare room all cleaned up.
I feel like I am sort of in pause. I need to get a number of things done now but none of it seems really to be happening at this point. I need to click my play button real soon now. We're heading for the middle of June right now and Shoreleave is not that far away. If I am going to do the great Dr. Who set then I need to start yesterday. I think last time I did all 8 in a month but that was with a job. I did learn to knit last time. I think they will be better this time since I have learned a lot from last time. I figure if that is all I have on my table it won't be bad because it will be an interesting display for everyone to talk about. And if I can sell one or two that would be great. I can build them again. I think I am only really attached to 4 and 8 although building 6's coat again could be a right royal pain. I know that I could get them better hair than last time. I know a lot more about toupees for puppets then I did them.
I do need to make Ariel's costume for the convention but it should be pretty easy to do. I might end up just buying a few pieces for it since my time is worth a lot to me these days. I want her to look really good on stage but I am just providing a costume not the whole sketch. We gave Robbie the OK on that one. There is still one costume I want to do but it is gonna take me a couple of years to do since I have never done quilting before and have to learn that skill too. I also have another project that will take up a chunk of my time for a while too. More on that as things progress.
Maybe I'll just pull out my clay today and make hands. I also want to pull out the patterns and see what I have and want I need to recreate. I need to get some forward momentum going some how.
I am grateful for Shana's visit.
