Caroline's First Short Story (As Told to Mommy)

A little set up before the story. I was making Ariel a jacket that she really wanted to have for a shindig yesterday evening. Caroline loves playing on my cutting table since it is a large flat surface. I managed to get her to play in one corner so I could cut fabric for the outfit on the rest of the table. She kept messing with the pattern until I gave her some of the strips of pattern paper (which she called newspaper) that I had cut. While I was cutting she told me the following story.

One day Mommy and Baby Unicorn climbed for a long time up a big hill. They got to the top and danced around because they were happy that they had finished climbing. Then they were very hungry. They looked around for something to eat. Mommy Unicorn found some newspaper spaghetti and gave it to Baby Unicorn. Baby Unicorn ate until full and then told Mommy Unicorn to have some too. They ate the newspaper spaghetti together and thought that it tasted yummy. Then Baby Unicorn had an idea and told Mommy Unicorn that they needed to go get their friends to share the wonderful newspaper spaghetti. They climbed back down the hill and told their friends Purple Teddy, little puppy and the purple and blue care bears. All the animals climbed up the big hill but on the way up Baby Unicorn almost fell off the hill. Mommy Unicorn and Purple Teddy rescued Baby Unicorn. Baby Unicorn was hurt so they went and got pink blankie and used that to make Baby Unicorn all better. After all the animals had their fill of newspaper spaghetti they climbed back down the hill and went to the couch where they took a nap covered with Pink Blankie. The End.

I cleaned up a little of the grammar but that is the story that she told me including the "The End" when she was done with it
