Another day of rain with the possibility of strong thunderstorms and hail is the current prediction for today. Caroline and I did get most of our errands run yesterday with two exceptions which may have to wait until tomorrow unless the rain really lets up today.
I finished my bowling league last night. We went from 3rd to 5th in one evening. Not the greatest night of bowling for any of us but I did roll 3 games over my average. I now have the summer to work on becoming a more consistent bowler. I did achieve one of my goals. I walked out of that league with 100 average. I had gone in with an 84. Caroline now has her own bowling ball that she loves to roll down the lanes. She is slowly learning how to hit the pins. Most interesting leave so far has been the 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.
There were a number of topics I thought about writing about this morning. I tend to think in the off moments of the day about things I might write about in my web log then whatever sticks the next morning becomes the entry. There are some things like the weather that make it in there because it is right there when I look out the window to think. I tend to do a quick check of my various e-mail accounts to see if anything there is something I want to explore or discuss. A number of rants have come out of e-mail and groups that I read in the morning. I always check Peter's website to see if he wrote anything overnight and read the responses to what he already has up. This takes a little bit of time and sometimes a lot of time as something strikes my fancy. I tend to freeform more without coffee.
This morning Caroline and Ariel got up at the same time. I made them breakfast, fixed Ariel lunch, made some coffee, finished cleaning up the kitchen, and got the garbage out since it is garbage day. All this while listening to Morning Edition off and on. There are times that something on the radio will get my brain going on a topic which I then write about here. Caroline and I picked up the living room together so she could practice riding her tricycle. She has gotten forwards and backwards down and is now working on steering. Once she stopped that I may pull out my cutting table and work on a couple of projects. Or we may just pull out the crayons and paper and draw. Caroline has taken to bringing her magna-doodle with her everywhere and drawing. She really enjoys it. Either way I want to get something creative in process today.
I am grateful for non-drying clay.
