Happy Tolkien Reading Day 2006
Mar. 25th, 2006 07:01 amMarch 25th has been designated by the Tolkien Society as Tolkien reading day. Sort of the equivalent of James Joyce fans having "bloomsday". So dust off your Lord of the Rings or pick up your Hobbit and read a bit today in honor of himself. This is the third such reading day with the first one in 2003 so get in at the ground level of a new holiday before Hallmark gets a hold of it.
Got the eyeballs done. Got the cloak done for Ariel's little friend. The kitchen is clean so onto the dining room and finish up this project this morning. Caroline made sure I got up in time to do it since she knocked on our door at 6:30 AM since she was ready to get up. I can tell it is going to be one of THOSE days. Fortunately she woke up in a good mood.
I am grateful for getting the cloak all done last night.
