I met Wendy Wasserstein when I was at Yale and she was doing a Winterfest play. It use to be that during the winter break the Drama School put up 4 plays that were new plays in rotation and it was called Winterfest. I still have a couple of tote bags I received from participating. Wendy is in the hospital for an undisclosed illness but her friends are very concerned about her condition. Please think good thoughts for Wendy. She is a good person and a brilliant playwright. We have already lost August Wilson this year and I am hoping that Wendy gets better to write more plays about the human condition.

The party is tomorrow! Yikes! I got the living room almost hammered into shape. That gets finished today. At some point I have to buy her some gifts for Saturday and at least one for Monday. She found the books I had been hiding in the bedroom so those are out. On the plus side, she really likes what I got her. I think I am going to be able to pull this off without going too crazy or driving my family so. I did find the missing blocks and books. Still looking for the letter Q.

I am grateful for those new large storage bags that allow me to put away a costume in a bag and be able to see which costume it is.
