14 pairs of eyeballs are staring at anyone who walks into the kitchen. It would be 15 but Caroline ran off with 2 of the ping-pong balls. I got 6 more so I can make 3 more pairs of eyes. I have an elastic threader that make the process a whole lot easier than the last time I tried it. So that is done.

Today Ariel and I are off to a Ducks Game while Peter finishes the next New Frontier novel and gets a jump on the next two books that are due on top of this one. I like the local team at lot and it is a nice ballpark. I may bring my knitting with me to do while watching since I really need to get cracking on that part of the next project. I want to do a mask or two also before I go. Now are there enough hours in the day?

We watched the James Cameron special about the Titanic. It was very interesting to see all that is left to be seen. The wreckage and what one can discern from looking at it and the photographs from the time is amazing. I learned that there was a fire that may have caused the weakening of the bulkhead walls which cause the flooding when it hit the iceberg. Apparently a lot of people made a lot of stupid decisions that in retrospect they would not have done all in the name of progress and the almighty dollar.

I am grateful that none of my relatives were on the Titanic.
