Beach 2005 Day 1
Jul. 18th, 2005 08:05 amI have finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and I have to say I like it much better than the previous book. Not that it left me happy or anything but that I found the writing much tighter and the story did not meander, which I felt it did in the previous book. I am not going to say anything more because I don’t want to even hint at a spoiler. I am now looking forward to book 7 and hope that her publishers give her the time she needs to finish the book rather than impose a deadline and push her to make it.
Caroline loves the Ocean. She wants to run into it as far as I will let her. I got a lot of exercise yesterday keeping her from getting in over her head. She also built a dribble castle with her Uncle Patrick and her cousin Jenny. She spent as much time in the pool as I would allow her which was less than she wanted. She had a very active Caroline day. Now it is time to suit up again and go play in the sand and surf.
I am grateful that I finish Harry Potter last night so I won’t be wondering what happens next.
