The Next Howard Hughes?
Jun. 14th, 2005 07:51 amWhat now for Michael Jackson? How is he going to reinvent himself this time? He is known all over the world as a rich eccentric on the level of Howard Hughes. Jackson is an example of the quintessential pop star who has managed to hold onto the spotlight longer than anyone thought possible. During the trial we heard about how in debt he is and how unstable and how weird. Michael has said that part of his behavior is because of how he grew up but by now he could have gotten himself some help with his various phobias and nervous ticks. Which is why I think that MJ is the next for the mantle of Howard Hughes. I do believe that Michael’s back went out due to the stress he was under. I have had stress cause me to get so tense that I have hurt my back. I don’t care if he gets a life coach, a doctor, or a good friend to help him deal with his life and what he is doing with it or not doing with it. Somewhere in that man is the voice that sang pop songs with a passion that changed some people’s lives. Maybe he needs to look at Madonna as an example of how to reinvent one’s self and still stay popular. Her new career is children’s book author or Jewish mystic depends on what paper you are reading.
Dental Surgery yesterday took a big chunk of the day out from under me. It was a little rougher than last time and my whole face hurt after the procedure. I am back in the chair on Thursday for the next part.
Caroline’s boo-boo is on its way to healing if I can keep her from sliding down the steps at a rapid rate. She loses the bandage about half way down the step and the scab on the rest from rug burn. I have been trying to convince her to go down the steps like a big girl rather than surfing on her belly. This is the last Mommy and Me class until the summer session which starts in July. It has been a good class with a good group of mommies and children for Caroline and I to interact with.
I am going to try to at least get a coat cut out today if not partial assembled. We are off to an Atlantic League ballgame this evening which should be fun. We were given free tickets from a season ticket owner so the seats are probably the best we’ll ever sit in at that ballpark.
I am grateful that I can see the light at the end of the dental tunnel.
