Eliminated another posibility
Jan. 29th, 2005 08:39 amThe good news is that I don’t have nose polyps. The bad news is that this puts us back to a big Hmmmm on what is wrong with my nose. So I am to call the Doctor back today to find out if I need to make an appointment or if he is going to just write me up a referral to an Ears, Noses, and Throat Doctor and send me off to them. So the mystery continues.
I received two books from England that I ordered on marionettes. One is David Currell’s latest book called “Making and Manipulating Marionettes”. The other book is “The Marionette Sourcebook” by Luman Coad. I ordered them from
http://www.puppetbooks.co.uk/
Which is run by a very nice man and brilliant puppeteer named Ray DaSilva. If you are into puppets and/or puppet books this is a site to bookmark. He also has a lot of used and out of print puppet books for sale. I recommend it very highly.
I have to get together some sort of portfolio on the web for the DragonCon Art committee to see if I will be in the Art Show this year. They have a new thing with a Doll competition that sounds right in my wheelhouse. I need to work on that today if I can get some Caroline help so I can focus on just one thing rather than my usual multitask.
Today I am going to work on my Round Robin Doll. This is the first time I have done this so I would like to do it on time and at my skill level rather than slapping it together and sending it off. I have this and about 6 other projects I need to get done. Soon as in tomorrow, I have to get it in gear for the masquerade for Farpoint. Again it is a matter of time free to do what I need to do. Understand I do not regret for a moment any and all time I spend with Caroline. Each day is the only day she is going to be that age and she needs me. Last night she pulled a blanket over both our heads like a tent and was giggling up a storm at her accomplishment. She had Mommy all to herself.
Not much else to say. In fact I am amazed I had this much to say.
I am grateful for bookstores that specialize.
