Not ranting
Nov. 22nd, 2004 09:14 amRight now I could rant about a couple of things but I don’t feel like ranting. I can’t talk about Peter’s next book because that would spoil it. I can say it is like nothing he has ever written and is probably one of the best things he has written. It is an epic saga with some really clever twists. After I post this, I am going to post what I have for the Novel writing challenge. My goal now is to get to 10,000 words by the end of the week leaving me 40,000 to write for the month of December. I know where the story is going and what the conclusion is, I just need to get typing.
Today I am going to do some sorting in my studio and find the materials I need for two projects I have in my head that will help my art by the Inch goal. I might make bronze this year but I want to see if I can make silver by the end of the week. Then there is the living room which sort of self-destructed during the weekend and needs some care. This while taking care of Caroline because Peter is off to talk to the studio about the animated movie script he is writing for them. Which is just fine by me since he took care of Caroline while I was interviewing for the job that I haven’t heard from so I am going to assume that I don’t have it. That’s fine for now. I’ll just work on the next thing until I find something that works for me.
Thanks for your kind wishes. The cold seems to be leaving now. I am sniffy but nothing like the other day and my teeth don’t hurt today. A little decongestant and I will be fine for the day.
We went bowling yesterday afternoon and the person behind the counter commented on how big Caroline was getting. She remembers when Peter would bring her in in her baby carrier. She would sleep while he rolled a couple of games. Now Caroline knows that she can’t go down the alleys and the other places in the alley but she loves to just run from one end of the building to the other. She loves to run. She goes full tilt and streams her arms behind her. She also now stepping up and down to the lanes rather than dropping to the floor and belly crawl down the step. In less than two weeks she will be 2 years old. It has been a fun ride so far and something I wouldn’t trade in all the world.
I am grateful for Winnie the Pooh.
