Yankees in 4 doggonit
Oct. 14th, 2004 09:11 amAfter the conclusion of last night’s game I am revising my guess to the Yankees in 4. I know they are going back to their stadium. I know that they have been the comeback kids in the past but I also see a team so rattled by another team they can’t play straight. I don’t think it is a curse or anything. I think it is psychological that the Soxs will fold when they play the Yankees.
When did Liberal become a dirty word? Did I miss the memo? It just amazed me with the venom that President Bush said that word as if it was a bad thing. I think liberals need to take their word back. It worked for Gays. Overall I call this last debate a tie but I am tired of attack politics on both sides. I would much rather know their stands on various issues that effect me rather than what a rat bastard the other candidate is. That what I walked away from this debate with the choice of which of them was less of a threat to me and mine.
As some of you long time blog readers know my daughter is a picky eater when we can get her to eat solid food. Yesterday was one of her better days. She tried a number of new things including apple and cucumber. She had a dinner of Udon noodles. Pasta is something we can now just about count on her eating. The apple was a surprise. She didn’t like cucumber seeds but the rest went down fine. Now we just have to keep her from backsliding to her comfort foods. I would like her to eat Christmas dinner at my parents without baby food being one of the courses.
I am grateful for washers and dryers.
