Cold Front

First really cold morning in a while. It almost went down to freezing but not quite. We haven’t turned on the heat because we want to get the boiler serviced before we fire it up for the winter. Also the weather is supposed to warm up later in the week.

I did watch the Vice Presidental debate. I don't think they changed anyone's mind about anything.

I took Caroline to her new course at Mommy & Me. We switched locations so she could be with the teacher she has had since she was 9 months old. Her teacher knows her and her moods and I think she does a great job with all the kids. It is further to drive but a better situation than I had during the last session at the old place. I like the Mommies better too.

The living room is half done or half undone depending on how you look at it. I don’t have anything interrupting me today so I should be able to get cracking on the whole thing. Peter did some work on it last night and that helped a lot. We keep going over the list of things we need for the Bat Mitzvah and who we still need to speak to. I will be glad when Saturday is done.

I have this wacky notion for a fantasy series I want to write. I have to finish thinking through the story and I might give it a go. I signed up for the National Novel Writing Month challenge to write 50,000 words of a novel during the month of November. I figure a goal will get me off my butt and writing. I have a feeling that my blog entries will drop off a bit that month but then I haven’t a clue if anyone is reading this or not. OK I have a bit of a clue since I do get responses from a couple of people pretty consistently which is great.

A couple of people slapped the QB down to size. I think she has gone off to sulk.

I am grateful for the house I live in.
